Bemidji, MN. May 29-31, 2010. North Country Model Controllers, NCMC will be hosting their Annual Spring Fun Fly What a great way to get together after the long winter! A $20.00 landing fee registers you for both days. You must be a current AMA member in good standing. Noon lunch will be available. There will be a 50/50 raffle. Camping is primitive, (no hookups), but we have LOTS of camping room for tents, campers and RV's. All types of heli's and airplanes are welcome! Early arrivals are welcome! Directions: From Hwy. 71, turn east on Hwy. 9, (Nary Road). After about 2 miles, turn south on Hwy. 36. After about one mile, you'll see fire number 48299 on your right. Turn west at the next gravel road and drive to field entrance, about 200 yards on your right. Signs will be posted. Jamestown, ND: 27 February 2010. The Buffalo City Radio Control Squadron will be hosting their annual Mall Show at the Buffalo Mall. Awards, swap shop, flight sim, video's. There is also a Craft Show at the State Fair Grounds, titled the "Big One", the craft show is something else to attend. Minot is a long drive from the Eastside of ND, and Western MN, but perhaps there's a way to make it happen, carpooling / trailering?
Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND: 22, May, 2010 Open house and performances by the Air Force Thunderbirds. This event will feature the T-Birds, but also give you an opportunity to see the base aircraft, including the latest versions of the UAV Predator and its successor.

Fargo, ND: 10-11 July 2010. Valley Big Dogs IMAA Fun Fly. Located one mile east of Kragnes, Mn. Grass runway about 300'x800' with six flight stations, no channel 20. Camping with limited electrical hookups. Pilots landing fee is $10.00, includes lunch both days. Registration at 8 AM and flying from 9 AM till dusk. Duluth, MN: 17-18, July 2010--Air and Aviation Expo. Again, the USAF T'Birds will be performing. Perhaps even more exciting is this year's Expo will feature the Commemorative Air Force's Re-enactment of Tora, Tora, Tora. This re-enactment by the CAF out of Midland, TX , is one of the most sought after civilian acts in the world. Generally it's booked at least 5 years in advance! Tickets for the Duluth event are already on sale. I'll send more info as soon as I can. This show is a "must see" if you have any interest in WWII aircraft and their missions.

Bemidji, MN: 24 – 25 July 2010, Paul Bunyan R/C Flyers will hold their 4th annual Float Fly. Water or Wheels will be held again at Moberg's Seaplane Base.

Event schedule::
Registration starts Saturday morning at 9:00, Pilots meeting at 10:00 at which time open flying begins and maybe a round or two of combat will be flown at some point during the day. Bring your combat planes! A one time Landing fee of $15.00, includes one $5.00 ticket to Saturday evening’s meal. Cook shack serving refreshments, coffee, hamburgers, hot dogs, brats and other snacks.
Evenings: Night flying, campfires and movies on Friday and Saturday nights. Drawings and many great prizes. Free primitive camping available (no hook-ups).
Directions: From Park Rapids, head West on Hwy 34, 4 miles from the stoplights at Hwys 34 & 71. Turn South on 109th Ave. (Todd Twp. 30) 1.5 miles. Signs will show the way.
