  5. Throttle - Thrust (Establish 50-75% Power as Cruise Setting)
  6. Practice Maintaining Level Flight

Level Flight and Basic Turns

  3. 180 degree turns (Left & Right)
  4. 360 degree turns (Left & Right)
  5. Race Track Pattern (Left & Right)

Rectangular Traffic Pattern

  3. Cruise Power (50-75%)
  4. Both Directions
  5. Progressively Lower

Practice Landing Approaches

  1. Preflight Discussion
  2. Observe Proper Landing Pattern
  3. Maintain Ground Track on Runway Heading
  4. Go Around

Landings

  1. Preflight Discussion
  2. Observe Proper Landing Pattern
  3. Observe Traffic Pattern
  4. Maintain Ground Track on Runway Heading on Final Approach
  5. Commit to Landing or Touch and Go

Solo

  1. Preflight Inspection
  2. Start Airplane
  3. Taxi For Take Off
  4. Three Take Offs and Full Stop Landings
  5. Taxi Back to Take Off Position After Each Landing
  6. Taxi Back To Pit Area After Completing The Final Landing.
  7. Must Demonstrate Full Control, No Instructor Intervention Allowed.

NOTE: All Lessons should start with a preflight discussion of the items to be covered during that lesson. This should consist of an explanation of the maneuvers and their purpose, as well as any applicable aerodynamic principles related to them.
